# Blume

> Publish documentation for people and agents from Markdown

Blume is an open-source framework for building documentation sites from Markdown. It provides navigation, full-text search, a changelog, reusable content components, and support for multiple languages without requiring a separate application shell. API specifications can become interactive reference pages with schemas and a request playground.

Each documentation page also has a Markdown representation for automated readers. Generated discovery files, optional MCP tools, and published skills help compatible agents find and read the same material as human visitors. Developers can initialize a project through the CLI, add content, and deploy the resulting site. Migration guidance supports moving existing documentation, while styling and configuration let the site follow an organization's own presentation.
