# CodeLook

> Preview source files in Finder with syntax highlighting and custom themes.

CodeLook is a macOS Quick Look extension for reading source files without first opening an editor. Select a supported file in Finder and press the space bar to see its code with syntax highlighting. The extension uses Tree-sitter to recognize code structure and presents it inside the familiar system preview window.

Users can choose from a large theme collection, adjust the font, and configure line wrapping or appearance to suit their reading preferences. Automatic light and dark styling helps the preview fit the rest of the desktop. CodeLook is a native Swift app, works locally, and is available from the Mac App Store as a one-time purchase.
