COLDCARD Q is a Bitcoin hardware wallet for holding private keys and reviewing transactions on a dedicated device. Its QWERTY keyboard makes entering passphrases easier, while a 3.2-inch screen and built-in QR scanner support transaction review and signing. You can exchange transaction files with compatible wallet software through QR codes or dual MicroSD slots, with NFC and USB-C providing additional connection options. Three AAA batteries allow use without a USB connection.

The wallet supports multisignature setups, multiple seeds, encrypted backups, and protected notes and passwords. Users choose compatible wallet software without needing a COLDCARD account or mandatory companion app. Before setting up a wallet, install and verify the recommended firmware; seeds created on affected older firmware require the migration steps in the official security advisory.
