> Control coding-agent sessions from a native project workspace

devpit is an open-source desktop workspace for managing coding-agent sessions. It brings chat, a terminal, task boards, costs, files, diffs, and a browser into one project view. Claude Code is the currently supported agent, with other integrations planned. The app runs locally and keeps workspace state separate from the repository.

An orchestrator can work across linked project boards, start a session for a task, and report its progress. A compact overlay highlights agents that need attention and allows approvals without switching to the main window. Terminal sessions use tmux to continue after the app window closes. Board steps record their output, exit status, and cost, with progression controlled by the user or an explicitly configured lane.
