# Ditto

> Retrieve earlier clipboard entries and paste them into Windows apps

Ditto extends the Windows clipboard by keeping items that were copied earlier available for reuse. Its history can hold text, images, HTML, and other clipboard formats. Users open the history from the system tray or a keyboard shortcut, choose an entry, and paste it into the window they were using. This lets someone copy several pieces of information before moving to another application, then retrieve each one without returning to its source. Ditto runs locally without an account or cloud service, and is available as an installed or portable application.
