# DOFOTT

> Add realistic travel time around Google Calendar events

DOFOTT adds travel blocks around Google Calendar events that have a location. After connecting a calendar, users set home and work addresses, choose a travel mode, and let the service calculate journeys using Google Maps. Driving, public transit, cycling, and walking can be selected for the usual routine or changed for an individual trip.

Travel blocks follow edited or deleted events, support recurring appointments, and can include a buffer for parking or reaching the door. Back-to-back meetings can use a direct route when that makes more sense. Road conditions are checked again before departure so a longer journey can move the block earlier. Other calendar apps display the blocks through the same Google account.
