# Drift

> Build and evaluate robotics simulations from natural-language prompts

Drift is an AI engineering tool for creating and evaluating robotics simulations. An engineer describes a robot, environment, and task through a terminal interface, and the tool helps generate or update the workspace files needed to run the experiment. It works with ROS 2 and simulation systems such as Gazebo and MuJoCo.

Beyond initial setup, Drift can coordinate launch files, controllers, world variations, and debugging steps while using the current workspace as context. This supports repeated experiments and scenario testing without manually rebuilding each setup. The product offers a Linux developer preview and a separate evaluation platform for teams; capabilities identified as forthcoming, including some simulator and managed training options, are outside the current preview.
