# Flipt

> Manage feature flags through a UI backed by Git

Flipt is a feature flag platform that connects release controls to Git. Teams can change flags through its interface and record those changes as reviewable commits. Applications use SDKs or APIs to evaluate flags, allowing a feature to be enabled, disabled, or rolled out gradually without preparing another application deployment for each adjustment.

The platform supports self-hosting as a single binary. Additional workflows can create pull requests from flag changes so teammates review them using their existing source-control process. Integrations with secret stores help manage sensitive configuration. It is useful for teams that want operational feature controls with a history they can inspect and review in Git.
