# GitNexus

> Map code relationships into a knowledge graph for coding agents

GitNexus analyzes a codebase and organizes symbols, dependencies, call chains, and execution flows into a knowledge graph. Coding agents can query that structure to find relevant context, inspect callers, or examine which parts of a system may be affected by a proposed edit. It uses static analysis and clustering to make relationships easier to explore.

The project includes an open-source option and self-hosted enterprise capabilities for larger environments. Supported integrations connect the graph to coding tools through MCP, and multi-repository analysis can expose relationships across services. Developers can use impact and change-detection queries while planning or reviewing work. Analysis quality depends on the languages and structures supported, so graph results should accompany normal code review and validation.
