Headroom is a remote desktop app for reaching a Mac from an iPhone, iPad, or another Mac. It connects to the screen-sharing service built into macOS, so the destination computer does not need a separate server application. Nearby Macs can be discovered on the same network, or you can enter an address manually.

Touch controls support clicking, dragging, and zooming, while software and hardware keyboards provide Mac modifier keys for more involved work. That makes it useful for checking a headless Mac mini or using a desktop computer from another room. Screen data and input travel between your devices without a Headroom account or relay server. A free version is available, with a one-time Pro purchase removing the connection time limit.
