# hey postcard

> Send digital postcards that arrive the following morning.

hey postcard is a messaging app built around delayed digital postcards. Instead of delivering every message immediately, it sends a postcard the next morning at a random time between eight and ten. The timing is intended to bring some of the anticipation of receiving physical mail to a digital conversation.

Users create a postcard for someone they want to reach and let the app handle its arrival. The service is available through iPhone and Android downloads, and its website also provides an entry for making a free digital postcard. It suits messages that do not need an immediate reply.
