How It Went turns recorded journeys into short films that follow a route across a map. Travelers import activities from Strava or bring GPX and Garmin FIT files, then add photographs and video clips from the trip. The app places media along the track using capture times and lets users correct misplaced items or adjust a camera clock for a whole group of files. Several activities can become one day-by-day story, including rest days, or a single outing can stand alone. Finished films export in portrait or landscape formats, giving riders and other travelers a shareable account of where they went and what happened along the way.
