# Keycloak

> Add single sign-on and access policies to applications with open-source software

Keycloak is an open-source identity and access management server. Applications delegate authentication through OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, or SAML, allowing users to sign in across connected services. Identity brokering and social login connect other providers to the same sign-in environment.

Administrators manage users, sessions, application settings, and authorization through a central console. LDAP and Active Directory connections support existing directories. An account console lets users manage profile information, passwords, sessions, and two-factor authentication. Organizations run and configure Keycloak as part of their infrastructure, with themes and extensions available when their applications need a particular interface or behavior.
