# Mean

> Capture and annotate screens for design feedback, bug reports, and coding agents.

Mean is a Mac screen capture and annotation tool for explaining visual work to people and coding agents. Users can freeze a screen or record a sequence, then add numbered comments, arrows, and shapes with direct gestures. Recordings retain a timeline so feedback can point to the moment where an interaction or animation needs attention.

Finished sessions can be shared as an annotated image or handed to an agent through a compact text command. A portable session file keeps images and comments together for later editing. CLI, skills, and MCP access extend the same capture and review workflow to compatible developer tools.
