# MiRemoteBridge

> Turn a Bluetooth remote into a PC keyboard controller

MiRemoteBridge is open-source firmware that turns an ESP32-C3 development board into a bridge between a Bluetooth remote and a computer. It translates remote button presses into standard keyboard commands, so users can control media playback, advance presentation slides, or trigger familiar shortcuts without sitting at the keyboard.

A browser interface handles key mapping and device status, with separate slots for a supported Xiaomi remote preset and other remotes learned key by key. The project provides a browser-based installation and update flow through ESP Web Tools. Windows 10 and 11 are verified targets; support for other computers and remotes depends on the compatibility information published by the project.
