# ModelPiper

> Run local models, voice, and automation tools on your Mac

ModelPiper brings local AI models, voice interaction, and desktop tools together on Apple Silicon Macs. Its ToolPiper companion runs models on the computer and connects them to actions involving files, the browser, and other Mac workflows. A browser-based workspace provides chat and creative tools, while compatible APIs let developers connect their own applications.

Users install ToolPiper, choose a model that fits their hardware, and work through voice or text. Local processing is the default, with optional cloud providers available when explicitly configured. The platform includes a free tier and paid features for broader automation and creation. ToolPiper is currently distributed as a publicly downloadable beta.
