# MyGo

> Build desktop apps in Go with native or web interfaces

MyGo is an open-source framework for building desktop applications in Go for macOS, Windows, and Linux. A developer making a file browser, for example, can write the interface in Go and let MyGo draw the controls on the GPU. A team with an existing web interface can display it in the operating system’s webview and call Go functions through a TypeScript client generated from the Go code.

Both approaches can use desktop features such as file dialogs, menus, and keyboard shortcuts. When the app is ready to distribute, MyGo can package installers and deliver signed updates.
