# Notchware

> Music, system status, and coding-agent alerts around your MacBook notch

Notchware turns the area around a MacBook's notch into a compact display for information you check throughout the day. It shows music playback controls, battery status, volume and brightness changes, Focus activity, and network connectivity. You can choose which indicators appear, adjust the island's width, and hide it while an application is fullscreen.

The Pro edition adds approval and completion alerts for Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor, together with Lock Screen music controls. Agent alerts use local hooks that you inspect before installation. The native macOS app runs without an account or cloud backend and supports both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
