# Pin Drop

> Keep places, plans, and field updates on shared maps

Pin Drop organizes places on private or shared maps, attaching useful information to each location. A pin can hold notes, photos, videos, files, tasks, comments, and custom fields, so details remain connected to the place they describe. Users can import saved locations from mapping services or spreadsheets and organize them into layers and lists.

For travel, the same tools help collect ideas, arrange stops into a route, and keep memories after a trip. Teams can use shared maps for site visits and field operations, assigning access to view, comment, or edit. Updates are available across desktop and mobile, giving everyone a common record of locations and their associated activity.
