ReadHere is a browser-based reader for PDF and EPUB files that users already own. Books and documents are stored locally in the browser by default, with offline access after they have been opened. Reading tools include highlights, attached notes, a per-book journal, text search, navigation, and selectable appearance themes.

EPUB support provides reflowable text and a table of contents, while PDF rendering preserves document layout with selectable text. The free reader works without an account on one device. An optional Pro plan adds backup and synchronization through the user's own Google Drive, allowing reading progress and annotations to move between devices. Local-only libraries remain dependent on the browser's stored data and the user's backup choices.
