# SafetyClip

> Search clipboard history and protect copied secrets on macOS

SafetyClip keeps a searchable history of the things someone copies on a Mac, from a prompt they just edited to a shell command they need again tomorrow. A keyboard shortcut opens the history for reuse. When the copied item looks like a password or API key, SafetyClip conceals it from compatible clipboard tools, clears it from the system clipboard, and places it behind Touch ID.

The Leaks view helps a user investigate which other apps tried to read a sensitive item. SafetyClip is sold as a one-time purchase for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Sonoma or later.
