Sharetribe builds marketplaces in which sellers or service providers transact with customers. Its hosted no-code builder supplies profiles, listings, payments, monetization settings, and administration tools. Marketplace arrangements can include sales, rentals, service bookings, directories, or combinations of those activities.

Developers can extend the default experience with code, changing discovery, matching, and transaction flows. A custom website or mobile app can also connect to the marketplace backend. Sharetribe operates the hosted infrastructure, while the marketplace owner manages participants, content, and business rules, including which listings and transactions the community is organized around.
