# Shipnoted

> Connect feature requests to shipped changes and tell the people who asked

Shipnoted gives customers a place to suggest improvements and vote for requests, then follows those requests through to release. Each suggestion gets a number. A developer can reference that number in a pull request, and the merged change becomes the basis for a release note. Someone on the team reviews the wording before it goes public.

Publishing the note also sends an email to the people who asked for the change. GitHub, GitLab, Linear and Jira integrations help a team keep working in its existing issue tracker while customers follow a public feedback board and changelog.
