# Sidecar

> Meet people through small shared plans in your city

Sidecar helps locals, travelers, and newcomers meet through small activities in public places. Users choose a city and interests, then browse invitations or propose something they already want to do. A host reviews requests to join, and accepted participants can chat before meeting. The focus is platonic friendship, with preferences and boundaries shaping which plans feel suitable. Afterward, participants can commend people they met or report concerns privately. Sidecar is in public beta, and the number of available invitations depends on the city. It is designed around making a modest real-world plan rather than spending time browsing an endless feed.
