> Mirror Google Drive files through a native Linux desktop client

Skymir is a native Linux client that keeps Google Drive folders synchronized with files on the local disk. Users can mirror their whole Drive or select particular folders, then work with ordinary files through their desktop file manager. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides appear as shortcuts that open the online document in a browser.

A background service handles changes in both directions, and a tray icon shows status with controls to pause or start synchronization. Deleted files go to recoverable trash, with additional checks for unusually large deletions. Skymir is available for supported Debian-based distributions and is designed for people who want desktop access to Drive on Linux.
