# Subway Now

> Follow live New York City subway trains and service changes

Subway Now helps New York City riders see where trains are and how service is running. Its live map shows train locations, route patterns, delays, and changes such as rerouted trains or skipped stops. Riders can check nearby arrival estimates, compare transfer options, and filter for accessible stations before choosing a journey.

The mobile app adds favorite stations, departure widgets, and support for checking information during intermittent connectivity. Optional paid features track a trip on the lock screen and provide arrival alerts. Previously called The Weekendest, Subway Now combines its own service analysis with official MTA alerts to make current subway conditions easier to follow.
