# Termy

> A Mac notch terminal for coding-agent sessions and approvals

Termy puts Claude Code and Codex in a terminal panel that drops down from your MacBook’s notch. Open the panel with a gesture or shortcut, select a project, and work with the agent without switching to a separate terminal window. Project tabs can follow folders open in supported editors, and sessions resume when you reopen the app.

Status indicators show whether an agent is working, needs a response, or has finished. Permission requests can appear at the notch or in actionable notifications, with the command visible before you approve it. Termy uses the agents’ hook events to track activity. It offers a free Mac download and optional Pro features for supported macOS versions.
