# Tomen

> Read your own books and comics across devices

Tomen is a reader for ebook and comic files you already own. It presents them on a customizable shelf and offers reading themes, type choices, and comic layouts including single pages, spreads, and long scrolling views. Manga can use right-to-left navigation, while zoom and a minimap help explore detailed pages.

Reading is available free through the web reader and supported desktop and mobile apps. Optional Plus features connect a Dropbox library and synchronize reading positions, highlights, notes, bookmarks, and organization across devices. Local conversion tools can turn PDFs or collections of page images into comics without uploading them, keeping the focus on an existing personal library.
