# Undertone

> Look up a team's acronyms and project names during a call

Undertone helps people follow conversations where teammates use unfamiliar acronyms, project names, or internal shorthand. It transcribes calls on the Mac and can look up references in connected Slack, Notion, and Jira workspaces. Someone new to a team can read what a name means in that particular organization and see which internal source explains it while the conversation continues.

After a call, Undertone prepares a recap, follow-up items, and information to review before the next meeting. The desktop app is available for Apple Silicon Macs running a supported version of macOS.
