# VPN Peek

> Monitor VPN tunnels and check for DNS or IPv6 leaks on Mac

VPN Peek is a Mac menu bar utility for checking an active VPN connection. It identifies tunnel interfaces, displays the public IP address, and tests for DNS or IPv6 traffic that may bypass the tunnel. Checks distinguish between protection, a detected leak, and a result that could not be verified.

The app refreshes when network conditions change and shows which resolvers are involved. A one-time Pro upgrade adds leak history, notifications, additional resolver details, and configurable refresh intervals. Users can also account for trusted resolvers or intentionally split traffic. VPN Peek works alongside an existing VPN client and requires macOS Sonoma or later.
