> Autonomous rides in supported cities

Waymo offers autonomous rides in supported cities using vehicles driven by its Waymo Driver technology. Riders can travel without a human driver at the wheel, with service availability limited to designated operating areas. The website explains where rides are available and how to get started, including locations where bookings are offered through Uber.

In the Waymo app, passengers choose a destination, receive pickup instructions, and unlock their assigned vehicle when it arrives. After starting the ride, an in-car screen shows the route and provides controls for the journey. Riders can adjust the temperature, play audio, or update their destination. The site also provides information about the driving technology and its published safety research.
