# Yokoi

> Find and clear the files that development tools leave on a Mac

Yokoi scans a developer’s Mac for the build outputs, package caches and old dependencies that accumulate across projects. It recognizes locations such as Xcode DerivedData and JavaScript dependency folders, explains why a file was matched and lets you review what would be removed. By default, cleaned items go to the Trash and the action is logged, giving you a way back if a project still needs something. The open-source app includes a command-line interface, so you can also inspect disk use from the terminal while working in a repository.
