Meet A Soft Murmur
A Soft Murmur mixes ambient sounds in a browser, including rain, thunder, waves, birds, and coffee-shop noise. Each sound has its own volume control, so listeners can combine them around their surroundings and preferences. Saved mixes provide a way to return to a combination, and sharing lets someone else use it. Timers can stop playback after an interval or fade the sounds gradually to silence. The Meander control varies the volume of active sounds over time. Someone studying, working, or resting can choose a background, set its levels and duration, and leave it playing while continuing with that activity.
