AdBlocker Ultimate filters advertisements and trackers through a browser extension and separate device applications. Its extension uses blocking rules without a predefined acceptable-ads list, while you can allow websites you choose. Filters also cover domains associated with phishing or malware as part of the blocking setup.

The desktop applications extend filtering beyond the browser to supported app traffic on Windows and macOS. Android uses VPN-based filtering, while the iOS product works with Safari. The appropriate setup therefore follows where you want filtering to apply: a particular browser or more of a device's traffic. Settings and site exceptions let you adjust that scope for everyday use.
