agentcad is an open-source command-line tool and MCP server that gives coding agents a workflow for creating CAD models. It runs Python-based designs using build123d, with CadQuery compatibility, and returns both rendered views and geometry measurements. An agent can use that feedback to inspect a part and revise the script.

The tool produces versioned STEP files and exports formats used for printing or viewing models, including STL, GLB, and OBJ. Validation and topology reports help investigate geometry problems, while comparisons track changes between versions. It runs locally without a service account and can install project instructions that teach an agent the workflow.
