Meet Amazon Lightsail

Amazon Lightsail is an AWS service for launching websites and applications with a simplified set of cloud resources. You can create a virtual private server from an operating system image or a prepared application stack, such as WordPress or Node.js, then manage networking, firewall rules, and server access through its console. Instance plans bundle compute, SSD storage, and a data transfer allowance.

Lightsail also offers container hosting, managed MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, object storage, load balancers, and content delivery distributions. DNS management and snapshots help with everyday operation and backups. It suits small websites, development projects, and business applications that need a straightforward hosting setup. Resources are priced separately where applicable, with additional charges for usage beyond included allowances.
