ocenaudio
A focused cross-platform audio editor
Record, edit, and mix audio tracks

Audacity is a free, open-source desktop application for recording and editing audio. Capture a voice or instrument, import an existing file, and work on it with editing tools and effects. Exports in formats such as WAV, MP3, FLAC, and Ogg make the result usable for podcasts, music, and other audio projects.
VST3 and Nyquist plugins extend the built-in effects, while spectrogram views and analysis plugins provide ways to inspect frequencies. Optional online companion services add sharing, collaboration, and versioned backups. The desktop editor remains available as a standalone download for Windows, macOS, and Linux, so online services are an additional part of the workflow.
