Meet Bruto

Bruto is a project task board whose notes live inside the project's own folder. Users add descriptions, file references, links, screenshots, and status, then connect related notes to show dependencies. Selected tasks can be copied as Markdown with their context, or accessed by a coding agent through the local files and MCP tools.

Agent responses stay attached to the task for review. A user can request changes and send the same context back without rebuilding the instructions. The board also supports standing project rules, cross-project dependencies, search, and a structural view of the codebase. Bruto is free and open source, with browser-based local folder access and offline use.
