Budibase builds internal apps, agents, and automations around a team's business data. Connect databases, spreadsheets, APIs, or other systems, then create an interface for requests, records, or inventory. An agent can answer workplace questions using that information and initiate configured tasks through communication channels.

Workflows classify an incoming request, route an approval, create a ticket, or notify the responsible team. The app gives staff a place to manage the resulting record while the automation connects its steps across systems. The open-source platform can be self-hosted or used through Budibase's managed cloud service, with the chosen deployment determining who operates the infrastructure.
