Bumply

Inspect and update JavaScript project dependencies from a Mac app

Website

Meet Bumply

Bumply helps Mac users manage dependencies across npm, pnpm, Yarn, and Bun projects. It discovers projects in selected folders and compares installed packages, declared version ranges, and registry releases. Before an update, it shows the command and backs up the manifest and lockfile, with a history for restoring those files later.

The app also presents package-manager audit information and measures rebuildable storage such as dependency folders and build artifacts. Removed artifacts go to the Trash. Bumply refuses updates in a dirty repository and does not rewrite Git history. It supports macOS 13 or later, with a free project allowance and a paid license for additional projects.
