BustimeFinder is a map-based directory for exploring bus services, stops, operators, and vehicle journey records. Search for a route number or place, open a service, and inspect the stops along its path. Its service explorer connects catalogue entries with mapped stop coordinates, making it useful when working out which routes serve an area or researching an unfamiliar transport network.

The homepage also shows recent vehicle-to-journey observations and refreshes network activity separately from route information. These observations describe recorded activity rather than promising live GPS positions or predicted arrivals. Place pages and operator searches provide additional ways to navigate the underlying public transport catalogue.
