Buy Nothing

Give away useful items and ask neighbors for what you need

Meet Buy Nothing

Buy Nothing connects people giving away items with others who can use them. Members post offers, requests, and thanks through the app or participating Facebook groups. Nearby posts help neighbors find available gifts, while search provides another way to look for a particular item.

Groups support local participation, and the wider service includes private communities, shipping options, and a Pro offering. The giver and recipient arrange the details for each gift, so available items and collection or delivery depend on those participants. Someone clearing out useful household goods can offer them to the community and browse requests from people who need them.
