Meet ByteRover

ByteRover is a memory layer for AI agents and the people working with them. It stores project decisions, fixes, rules, and other context in editable files, then makes relevant material available when an agent needs it. Recalled information includes visible sources so users can inspect the context behind an answer.

Memory stays local by default, with an optional cloud service for selectively sharing files and folders across devices, teammates, and agents. Access controls help separate roles and client projects. ByteRover connects to coding assistants and agent tools, making it useful for preserving project knowledge across sessions without giving every participant access to everything.
