Its index draws on the Semantic Scholar corpus, with OpenAlex information adding links to available open-access material.

Hybrid results combine the rankings from both search methods, helping surface related work while retaining precise terminology and uncommon acronyms. Results include available titles, authors, venues, dates, identifiers, abstracts, citation counts, and PDF links. A documented API lets developers use the same retrieval in research applications. Cito provides metadata and links rather than hosting the papers' full text.
