Meet Codenames

Codenames Online brings the word-association party game into a browser room that a group can share. Players enter a nickname, choose the settings, and pass the room link to friends. Each team uses a spymaster's clue to identify the words belonging to its agents while avoiding opposing agents and the assassin.

The spymaster knows the hidden identities and gives a clue with a number indicating how many words are related. Teammates discuss and select their guesses on the shared board. A separate voice or video call carries that discussion, letting a group play the classic game together from different locations.
