Coursera

Meet Coursera

Coursera brings courses from universities and companies into an online learning catalog. Subjects include technology, business, data science, and academic fields, with formats ranging from individual courses to Specializations, Professional Certificates, and degrees. Learners choose the subject and format, then follow its curriculum and activities.

The platform also supports learning programs for employers, universities, and public-sector organizations. Each offering has its own access, assessment, and credential requirements, so the commitment differs between a focused course and a degree. Someone exploring a skill can begin with a relevant class, while a longer program provides a sequence of related study.
