Creem combines checkout, billing, and payouts for sellers of software and digital products. Its merchant-of-record service handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes, invoicing, and disputes for supported transactions. Sellers can configure subscriptions, credit packs, or usage billing using their own metered units.

Affiliate tools, revenue splits, and tracked links connect partner promotion with recorded sales. APIs, a CLI, and MCP tools let developers configure products and work with billing events through other applications. Test mode supports checking the setup before live transactions, while dashboard views show customer usage and sales.
