Meet Edyt

Edyt brings proofreading and rewriting tools into the applications where you already write. On Mac or Windows, select text to correct mistakes, compare alternative wording, translate a passage, or ask for an explanation. Its proofreading view explains a suggested change before you apply it, while reusable prompts let you keep instructions for repeated tasks such as shortening a draft or adjusting its tone. Screen reading extends the workflow to text that cannot be selected directly, including screenshots and PDFs. Edyt also offers a web interface, so you can use the editing tools separately from the desktop integration. It is useful for reviewing messages and drafts without repeatedly moving them between an editor and a chat window.
