Meet Equitybee Benchmark

Equitybee Benchmark gives startup employees context for comparing new-hire equity grants. Users select a department, seniority level, and company stage to examine a relevant cohort from grants submitted through Equitybee. A free account provides access to distributions, percentiles, averages, and information about the amount of data supporting a comparison.

The tool uses grant-date fair market value rather than option counts alone, and lets users change one cohort factor at a time. It can inform questions during an offer discussion or career move, but the underlying dataset is not independently verified or necessarily representative of the entire market. A grant's initial value also does not predict its eventual liquidity or investment outcome.
