Invisible watermarks for tracing shared digital media

Meet Etchv

Etchv adds invisible forensic watermarks to images, PDFs, and videos so organizations can identify a particular delivered copy later. Each copy receives a distinct identifier without a visible label covering the content. If material appears somewhere unexpected, a detection request can recover the watermark and match it with the original delivery record.

The service is available through an API, with a browser demonstration for trying image watermarking. Teams can connect their own storage and incorporate marking into an existing delivery process. It is useful for distributing sensitive documents, preview images, and licensed media when the sender needs a way to investigate where a shared copy came from.
